Physical Fitness And It’s Importance

Exercising is a physical activity that allows you to improve your physical condition,  mobility, flexibility, maintain your ideal body weight, strengthen your bones, and increase or improve your cardiovascular capacity. It also improves your self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-love.

Exercising allows you to avoid a series of diseases such as blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, osteoporosis, certain cancers, depression, erectile dysfunction, and dementia.

The type of exercise you perform depends on the activity. If you just need to make sure that you are in good physical condition so that you can perform your daily activities, then you would engage in an activity that increases your heart rate 5 times a week for 30 minutes and participate in resistance training 2 days a week. Mobility and flexibility exercises should be incorporated twice weekly at the least.

All sports are good exercise for your health. For example, if you play soccer, volleyball, or practice martial arts, these sports have a program of muscle strengthening and optimization of the cardiovascular system, along with mobility and flexibility.

The best time to exercise is when you wake up in the morning because you are rested and full of energy. To be consistent with your fitness activities, it should not be the last activity of your day.

A daily meal plan is recommended and should be appropriate for your level of activity with your fitness goals. It should consist of lean protein, complex carbs, fruits, unsaturated fats, low sugar, and low-fat dairy with plenty of water.

Exercising decreases your chances of getting sick. But remember that everybody will die whether they are fit or not. The difference is whether it is only for a short life span. People who exercise regularly tend to enjoy a better quality of life.
